M.Com-Masters of Commerce
The broad objective of this course is to impart to students, professional education and training in various aspects of business and its environment, and provide them with opportunities to develop managerial and analytical skills that will equip them to meet the challenges of business, on national and global levels.
It is two-year, classical postgraduate course in commerce, conducted in affiliation to Bangalore University, and distributed over four semesters. It involves a detailed project during the fourth semester, covers all major areas of commerce, and provides the students the option of taking specialisations in accounting and taxations or finance, in the second year of the course.
Candidates who have cleared B.Com/B.B.M/BBS and BBA degree examinations of Karnataka University, or any other university recognised as equivalent, having secured not less than 50% marks in aggregate in all the commerce subjects during all semesters.
